Your privacy is our priority
Syntricate exists to match people with work. That only functions if candidates can trust how their information is handled. This notice covers applicants for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire roles, including public-sector and healthcare assignments, and people we source from professional networks or referrals.
It should be read with the full privacy notice and, if you join an assignment, the talent notice.
What we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | Name, email, phone, location, work authorization at a high level | You, a referral, or a recruiter partner |
| Professional profile | Résumé, skills, work history, education, certifications, portfolio links, desired rate or salary, availability | You, LinkedIn or similar public profiles, prior applications |
| Role fit | Interview notes, assessment results, recruiter comments, client feedback | You, our team, the client |
| Eligibility (when a role requires it) | Clearance status, license numbers, credentialing, right-to-work documents | You, licensing boards, verification vendors — only when needed for the assignment |
Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, or medical information through the website form. We will ask for those only through a controlled process if a placement requires them.
How we use it
- Understand the brief and whether your background fits it.
- Contact you about the role you applied for, and about later roles that reasonably match your profile, unless you opt out.
- Present you to a client — with the information needed for that search, not your entire file.
- Meet equal opportunity, audit, and public-sector reporting duties. See our equal opportunity statement.
- Improve how we source and represent talent.
Matching tools may help our recruiters search skills against a brief. A person reviews what is sent to a client. We do not reject applications solely by automated means.
Background checks, FCRA, and E-Verify
If we move toward a placement, we or the client may request a background check, employment verification, education check, or drug screen as permitted by law. Where the Fair Credit Reporting Act or a state equivalent applies, we will provide the required notices and obtain authorization before a consumer report is requested, and we will follow adverse-action steps if a report is used to take an action.
Syntricate Technologies participates in E-Verify. If you are hired or engaged through us, we will complete Form I-9 and, where required, submit information to E-Verify. We will give you the notices the Department of Homeland Security requires.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate records for the life of an active search and for a reasonable period afterward so we can consider you for suitable work — typically up to two years from last meaningful contact, unless a longer statutory period applies (for example, certain public-sector or OFCCP record-keeping). You may ask us to delete your file; we will do so except where we must retain it for a legal, audit, or dispute reason.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to tell us not to sell or share are described in the privacy notice. Use the privacy request form or write contact@syntricatetechnologies.com.
