Who we are
Syntricate Technologies, Inc. (“Syntricate,” “we,” “us”) is a workforce, technology, and public-sector services firm headquartered in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. We operate this website to describe our services and to receive inquiries from clients, candidates, talent, and partners.
For personal information collected through this site and in connection with our staffing, SOW, MSP, and consulting services in the United States, Syntricate is the business / controller that decides why and how that information is processed.
Who this covers
This notice applies to personal information we collect when you visit our websites, submit a form, apply or are referred for a role, work on assignment through us, or deal with us as a client, supplier, or partner. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.
Read the notice that matches how you deal with us:
- Website visitors — browsing, cookies, and contact forms.
- Candidates — applications, résumés, matching, and client sharing.
- Talent on assignment — payroll, I-9, E-Verify, timesheets, and engagement records.
- Business relations — client, vendor, and partner contacts.
What we collect
The information we hold depends on how you interact with us. We do not require an account to use this website.
| Category | Examples | Typical source |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact | Name, email, phone, organization, job title, mailing address | You, your employer, a referral, or a form on this site |
| Professional | Résumé, skills, work history, education, eligibility, clearance, rate, availability | You, recruiters, references, publicly available professional profiles |
| Assignment and payroll | Timesheets, assignment details, tax forms, bank details for payment, I-9 / E-Verify | You, the client, payroll and verification partners |
| Inquiry content | The message you send, files you attach, and the inquiry type you choose | You, via contact or careers forms |
| Device and usage | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, date and time, referring URL | Your browser and our hosting logs |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data through this website (Social Security number, driver’s license, precise geolocation, health, or biometric data). If a placement requires it later, we collect only what the assignment and the law require, with notices and authorizations where they apply.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve this website.
- Respond to inquiries and route them to the right person.
- Source, assess, and present candidates for roles and programs — including SLED and healthcare assignments that require extra screening.
- Administer assignments: onboarding, time, pay, tax, and employment authorization (including E-Verify).
- Perform contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners, and manage those relationships.
- Meet legal, audit, and public-sector procurement obligations.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where we use software to help match skills to a brief, a person still decides what is sent to a client. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, and then for a further period where a law, contract, audit, or dispute requires it. Typical periods:
- Website inquiries — for as long as needed to handle the request and a short follow-up, then as required by our record schedule.
- Candidate records — for the life of an active search and a reasonable period afterward so we can consider you for suitable roles, unless you ask us to delete them (subject to legal holds).
- Assignment, payroll, and tax records — generally up to seven years, or longer if a dispute or statutory duty requires it.
- Server logs — a short period for security and diagnostics.
Security and where we process
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the nature of the information — access on a need-to-know basis, contractual limits on processors, and standard hosting protections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If the law requires us to notify you of a breach, we will.
We process and store information in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to the US.
Your rights
Depending on the state you live in (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, with the exceptions the law allows.
- Receive a portable copy of information you provided.
- Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Appeal a refusal, and not be discriminated against for asking.
To exercise these rights, use the privacy request form, email contact@syntricatetechnologies.com, or write the address below. We will verify your request before fulfilling it, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires (typically 45 days, extendable once). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we will need proof of authorization.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by writing again with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. If you are still unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
